Reverend Daniel L. Watson Sr

Reverend Daniel L. Watson, Sr., a native of Glen
Allen, Virginia, is the son of Pastor Lewis M.
Watson and Arlene Watson of Pamplin Virginia.
Reverend Watson obtained his primary and
secondary education within the public schools of
Farmville, Virginia, graduating from Prince Edward
High School (1990). Following the completion of
his secondary education, he continued his
education at DeVry University in Atlanta, Georgia,
graduating with an Associates of Applied Science
in Electronics (1992). In 2012, he entered Liberty
University in Lynchburg, Virginia, where he earned
his Associates of Arts in Religion Degree (2015).
Reverend Watson preached his Initial Sermon in
December of 1999 at Crossroads Baptist Church,
Evington, Virginia under the leadership of Reverend William J. Coleman. His official
pastoral assignments include Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, Farmville, Virginia (July 2004)
and the Antioch Baptist Church, Goochland, Virginia (March 2007). In April, 2015, the
Springfield Baptist Church family elected Reverend Daniel L. Watson, Sr., as pastor.
Reverend Watson is married to the love of his life, the former Celestina Hubbard. They
are blessed with three children, Daniel Jr., Jaquan, and Jasmine.
