Pastor Jeffrey Perkinson

Rev. Jeffrey Perkinson is the Senior Pastor of the Chestnut Grove Baptist Church of Charlottesville. Va. He was born in Richmond Va.on February 1st 1970, and is the oldest of three children born to Randolph and Sandra Perkinson. Rev. Perkinson is a native of Amelia Va. He was educated in the Amelia County Public School System, and is an 1988 graduate of Amelia County High School. He was baptized by his grandfather the Rev. Dr. Walter Patrick on September 6th, 1981 at the age of 11. He served as Deacon from 1985 until 2000 under Pastors Benjamin Blocker And Lorenzo Hill of the Beulah Baptist and Little Bethel Baptist Churches respectively. He was licensed to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ on Jan 21, 2001 and was ordained to the Gospel ministry on November 17, 2002 under His Pastor Rev. Lorenzo Hill. He attended the Ministers Council seminary class under. Dr. Norwood Carson, as well as Richmond Virginia Seminary. He was a member of The Ministers and Deacons Leadership Conference Of Amelia, Chesterfield, and Powhatan Counties From 1988 To 2010, And since 2015 he serves as an Harvest Pastor under Bishop David G. Evans In THE ABUNDANT HARVEST FELLOWSHIP OF CHURCHES.He is currently the Senior Pastor of The Chestnut Grove Baptist Church of Charlottesville,Va. Where he has been their leader since 2010.
